Academic Visiting

During PRAI 2027, an academic visit to Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) will be arranged for conference participants. The visit introduces the university's campus, its teaching and research platforms in information and communication technology, and offers an opportunity for academic exchange with local faculty and students.

1. About the University

Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (重庆邮电大学), founded in 1950, is located on Nanshan in Nan'an District, Chongqing. Co-built by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, it is one of the key universities of Chongqing. The university is characterized by information science and technology, with strengths in communications engineering, computer science, automation and microelectronics, and is an important base in China for cultivating professionals and conducting research in posts and telecommunications.

2. Campus Highlights

  • University History Museum — the development of the university and of China's posts and telecommunications education.
  • Information and Communication Laboratories — teaching and research platforms for mobile communications, industrial internet and intelligent information processing.
  • Library and Campus Landscape — the library and the hillside campus on Nanshan, overlooking the Yangtze River and the city of Chongqing.

3. Visiting Arrangement

  • Date: the afternoon of 17 August 2027 (the last day of the conference). The exact departure time, gathering point and itinerary will be announced on the Programme page.
  • Registration: free of charge for registered participants; seats are limited and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate your interest during registration or by email.

4. Address and Transportation

Address: No. 2 Chongwen Road, Nan'an District, Chongqing 400065, China（重庆市南岸区崇文路2号）.

Participants may take Metro Line 6 to Shangxinjie Station and then a taxi or a local bus to the Nanshan campus (about 10 minutes). Detailed directions and a shuttle arrangement, if any, will be published on this page before the conference.
