贵州大学省部共建公共大数据国家重点实验室于2021年9月获中华人民共和国科学技术部批准建设，是我国大数据领域第一个国家重点实验室。重点实验室现有固定研究人员近100名，双聘研究人员40余名，引进国家级领军人才冯毅雄教授，培养国家级青年人才田有亮、陈玉玲教授，形成了国家级人才领衔，教授、副教授为学术骨干的特色科研团队。重点实验室仪器设备总值超过1亿元，科研用房面积3万平米。

 The State Key Laboratory of Public Big Data at Guizhou University was approved for establishment by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology in September 2021. It is the first national key laboratory in China dedicated to Big Data research. Focusing on the international frontiers of Big Data, the laboratory is committed to advancing the national strategy for Big Data and digital economy development. Its research primarily spans three areas: Public Big Data Governance and Regional Governance, Public Big Data Security and Privacy Protection, and Big Data Integration and Analysis for the “aggregation, communication, and application” of Public Big Data.
